DIRECTIONS”
- Feed
only to ruminants only. (Beef & Dairy Cattle)
- Use
only covered feeders with mechanical devices such as wheels to
eliminate drinking by the animal.
- On
controlled feeding, do not exceed 2-3 pounds per head per day Maximum
and don’t raise the protein equivalent of the total ration to over
13%.
- Free
Choice Feeding. (This is when the feeders are out in the fields for
the animals to have basically anytime they want it, never kept from
the feeders). The following precautions must be observed.
- Unlimited
drinking water very near by.
- Unlimited
roughage must also be available at free choice. This is hay or
decent standing grass for the animals or equivalent. Not an
overgrazed pasture.
- Grain
may be fed as desired.
- Provide
additional free choice minerals as required by your local area.
- Provide
unlimited amounts of the following separately free choice: Salt
(loose or block) or other adequate mineral supplements.
